Something a lot of people overlook when planning their wedding, is planning for their marriage. It’s easy if you have lived together for a while or been dating long enough to feel you know everything about each other. Pre-marital counseling helps you get to know your partner on a deeper level and to consider and discuss topics in a non-threatening and comfortable way to make sure you are on the same page before the big day.
Some things that are often discussed are:
-Finances
-Family
-Expectations/Boundaries
-Career and Future Plans
-Values
-Intimacy
I am also trained in Myers Briggs personality testing as well as the Enneagram. Both are tools that can be utilized to help you better understand yourself and your partner.

My goal with pre-marital counseling is to bring you and your partner closer together, and to help make sure you have the best life long marriage!
“Not only did he officiate with confidence and knowledge, but he also offered us premarital before we said “i do”. Although skeptical at first, it helped us find out each other’s love languages, our enneagram type and have a deeper understanding of how to effectively communicate with one another. My husband and I use these tools Evan has provided us for the last three years in our marriage. Three years, two children and two puppies later, I feel our communication is the reason we have come so far in our marriage in such a short period of time- thanks to Evan! “
